Ken A Chapman - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

With responsibility for commercial land and vertical developments in both North Carolina and South Carolina, Ken Chapman is at the forefront of land acquisition for Merrifield Partners with numerous office, industrial and mixed use projects. He coordinates and manages marketing efforts, financial feasibility, rezoning and subdivision, and deals with various government regulatory agencies.

His responsibilities also include selecting and managing project teams comprising planners, consultants, architects, and contractor. Ken's major projects include Whitehall, RiverCrossing, Old Hickory Business Park, NorthCross Business Park, Rea Village, Austin Village, Clear Creek, Progress Point in Wilmington, Plaza East in Wilmington and Brookfield in Greenville, SC. Ken has worked with major companies that include, Time Warner, Progress Energy, Health South, Presbyterian, Harris Teeter, CVS, Pulte Homes and Bank of America.

Ken has Brokers and General Contractor's licenses in North Carolina and South Carolina, and he participated in Leadership Charlotte. He received a B.S. in computer science from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1985 and an M.B.A. with concentration in real estate finance from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994.
