Karl F. Sherry, a partner in the firm, founded Hayes & Sherry with Peter Hayes in 1990. Mr. Sherry has negotiated the sale of over $100 million dollars of property and over 5 million square feet of leased space since forming Hayes & Sherry. As exclusive representative for several Fortune 500 companies, Mr. Sherry includes Fidelity Investments, Merrill Lynch, Ernst & Young, Textron, and Delta Dental of Rhode Island among his clients.

Mr. Sherry is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He is a member of the Board of Directors of Delta Dental of Rhode Island, The Altus Group, Inc., and In-Sight, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club, a Director of the Pawtucket Foundation, a member of the Greater Providence and Northern Rhode Island Chambers of Commerce and has served in different capacities for the Boys Scouts of America and the American Heart Association.
