John L. Nichols, III is the founder of The Nichols Company, a Charlotte-based commercial real estate firm providing comprehensive commercial real estate brokerage and advisory services. His company is founded on a thorough knowledge of local markets and is a leader in the past decade’s growth and revitalization of the greater Charlotte community.

John has served as President of the Plaza Midwood Development Group and as a member of the Independence Citizens Advisory Committee for the Charlotte Department of Transportation. He was named one of Charlotte’s “40 Under 40”, an annual designation of the community’s brightest young business-people. John is the third consecutive generation in his family to provide real estate expertise for the businesses and people of North Carolina, including his grandfather’s developing Lake Toxaway, NC and his sister’s successful residential real estate business with Dickens Mitchener.
