John Hennessey has been involved in the corporate real estate industry for over twenty-one years. Mr. Hennessey joined GVA Thompson Hennessey & Partners in 1993, becoming a partner in 1998 as one of the top producers in the firm, and is now heading the brokerage services group for the company. John specializes in providing advisory services with a focus in Tenant Representation to corporate clients, both locally and globally. He has conducted more than 350 real estate transactions, with a value in excess of $1 billion.

John began his career with RM Bradley Co., one of the leading service providers at the time, focusing primarily on marketing downtown towers. He was involved in the leasing of The Prudential Center, One Beacon Street, 31 St. James Avenue, 84 State Street and 28 State Street.

John has been active outside of the industry, most recently as a board member of The Home For Little Wanderers, a nationally renowned, private, non-profit child and family service agency. It has been part of the Massachusetts landscape for over 200 years, making it the oldest agency of its kind in the nation and one of the largest in New England.

John resides in Newton, Massachusetts with his wife, Christina, and their sons, Connor and Brandon. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Accounting from Northeastern University in Boston.

John's interests include golf, skiing, adventure racing, and he is an accomplished pilot. Other of his accomplishments include successfully competing in and completing five marathons, two of which were The Boston Marathon. Less
