John Culbertson - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

John Culbertson created Cardinal Real Estate Partners after being working as Senior Vice President at Trammell Crow Company and International Airport Centers, an institutional real estate developer of airport cargo facilities owned by a top-five pension fund. There he held several positions with the company, including National Director of Leasing. As a senior member of the development team, he was actively involved in the acquisition, development and leasing of a portfolio properties that spanned from coast-to-coast. Mr. Culbertson has development experience throughout the United States and has worked with Carlisle Companies, Ryder Logistics, Faison Properties, Richardson Corporation, Federal Express, Danzas/AEI, Kuehne and Nagel, US Airways, Panalpina, EGL Global Logistics, DHL, Expeditors, JAS, Seko, Maersk/Sealand, Pilot Air Freight, Department of Commerce, Hellmann and Corporate Express.

His responsibilities included the development of projects for Wachovia, CPCC, Harris-Teeter, CVS and The City of Charlotte. While working at Norcom, John Culbertson obtained his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Hugh McColl School of Business - Executive MBA program at Queens College.


John has been appointed to the North Carolina Turnpike Authority, where he serves as Chair of the Plans and Programs Committee. John values civic involvement and is an active member of his community. He is president ex-officio of the Queens University Learning Society, as well as a member of the board of visitors for Johnson C. Smith University. He has sat on the board of directors for the Children's Theatre of Charlotte and the development committee for Trinity Episcopal School.
