John C Barksdale - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

John Barksdale is a Senior Associate with CB Richard Ellis in Austin, Texas, where he is
responsible for industrial leasing transaction management and new business pursuits with
both institutional and non-institutional clients. He is also focused on countywide tenant
demand analysis and tracking, exclusive client representation in acquisition and disposition,
restructuring of corporate client’s existing lease agreements and the acquisition and
disposition of facilities.

John joined the CB Richard Ellis Carlsbad, California office in 2002 and partnered with
Lannie Allee and Roger Carlson to create a team that has successfully closed sales and
leasing transactions totaling over $100 million during 2007.

Prior to joining CBRE, John met the commercial real estate needs for both the tenant and the landlord while working for SENTRE Partner’s Industrial and Class-A Office divisions. He
assumed responsibilities as a Property Manager in San Diego’s North and Central County
Office and Industrial markets, transacting leases and working as the owner’s liaison with
tenant improvement contractors, while meeting the day to day needs of a tenant base
