Henry Bernstein - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

Henry Bernstein joined Scheer Partners in April 2005 after a distinguished 28 year career with the Montgomery County Government, culminating with his being named chief operating officer of the Department of Economic Development in 2000. While with Montgomery County, Bernstein successfully completed business attraction and retention projects for hundreds of companies resulting in the creation of thousands of new jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars of new investments in the County and State. Mr. Bernstein became the local government’s liaison to the commercial real estate community and oversaw the development of the Shady Grove Life Sciences Center, a 300-acre office park owned by the County. Major firms and organizations he has assisted with relocation to and expansion within Montgomery County include Discovery, The Mills Corporation, Johns Hopkins and Maryland Universities, and Qiagen.Mr. Bernstein holds a BA in Liberal Arts from the University of Maryland. Less
