Greg Klein - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

Mr. Klein specializes in representing landlords and tenants in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area in the leasing of office and industrial properties. This includes marketing, negotiating on behalf of his clients, providing market analysis, cashflow analysis, strategic planning for space usage, and coordinating service providers (legal, architect, construction, IT, etc.) to successfully accomplish the transaction.

Mr. Klein started his career in 1986 as a leasing and sales agent, and for 10 years he specialized in industrial properties and land sales.

In 1996, Mr. Klein joined Pinnacle Realty Management Company, where he was responsible for leasing 1.5 million square feet of office and industrial properties. Additionally, he had management responsibility for overseeing leasing efforts and client development in office and industrial markets of Montgomery County. He implemented strategies to maximize property values and product competitiveness through healthy tenant mix and asset enhancement.

In 1998 Mr. Klein joined Grubb and Ellis, one of the nation’s largest real estate firms. As a Vice President, in the Bethesda, Maryland office, he transacted leases on behalf of numerous landlords and tenants in the suburban Maryland marketplace, including work for many national accounts.

In 2003, Mr. Klein joined Vanguard Realty Group as a co-director, with his business partner, Pete Hill-Byrne, to run Vanguard’s leasing division. Mr. Klein continues to represent landlords and tenants in addition to managing the department.

Significant clients have included: Mack Trucks, Kaiser Permanente, General Electric, The Gillette Company, Lerner Corporation, Goodwill Industries International, HealthSouth Corporation, Davis Construction Company, Crestline Capital, and The Brick Companies.
