Gabriel Garcia-Menocal - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

In 1987 Gabriel began his Real Estate career as a Real Estate Researcher for Republic Appraisal Company Inc. He eventually became a full time Commercial Real Estate Appraiser specializing in the valuation of Industrial and Office Real Estate assets assisting customers like Ocean Bank, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) under the mentorship of Gabriel M. Garcia-Menocal Sr., MAI and Augusto Fonte, CCIM. In mid 1994 Gabriel worked as a Project Manager for East Little Havana Community Development Corporation, a non-profit organization where he was responsible for the construction of several Residential projects including a 16-unit apartment condominium and a 26-unit townhouse development project within the span of 14 months. In late 1995 he joined DiGiacomo Group, Inc., a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage firm where with the guidance of its Principal Mr. Stephen J. DiGiacomo, SIOR he became one of the top producers of the company by his third year. In 2003 he joined his partner Lucia Custer at Power House Realty and continues to assist his clients with: Acquisition and Disposition of Real Estate assets, Tenant/Buyer Representation and Landlord/Seller representation of Industrial, Office and Institutional Real Estate assets. He also advices clients with all aspects of the Development Process.

In 1992 he founded the FIU Food Runners, grass-roots, student-managed endeavor dedicated to the assistance and fair treatment of the homeless population in Miami.
