Edward Bane – Partner, Houston - Edward graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Finance. Following his education, Edward obtained his CPA (currently inactive) and began his career with The Billingsley Company, a large privately held company with vast holdings of industrial real estate. Edward was responsible for creating their property management division and was the Asset Manager for over four million square feet of industrial real estate in Dallas, Houston and Atlanta. He was involved in all areas of the property management company, including leasing, property management, lender relations and operations.

In 1995, Edward resigned from The Billingsley Company and became the Director of Real Estate for a Dallas-based Fortune 500 company. While there, he successfully completed over 100 lease transactions across the U.S., achieving savings of approximately $2.5 million in a twelve-month period.

Edward’s capacity at Holt Lunsford Commercial includes overseeing the project leasing and property management of the 6.5 million square foot portfolio in Houston, acquisitions, project development and overall business development. Since joining Holt Lunsford Commercial in May 1996, Edward has successfully leased 14 million square feet with a total leasehold value in excess of $204 million. He has managed the construction and subsequent leasing of a 118,000 square foot industrial project, completed a 100,000 square foot build-to-suit (both in Dallas) and is currently completing the development of a 128,000 square foot speculative industrial project (in Houston).
