Daniel M Levison - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

Daniel Levison began his commercial real estate career with Royal LePage Commercial Real Estate Services of Canada in 1982. Mr. Levison managed the Atlanta office’s research department.

Mr. Levison then took a position with Laing Properties, Inc. where he was involved in the daily management and leasing of Laing Properties industrial and business park portfolio, which consisted of 1.5 million square feet.

In 1985 Mr. Levison founded Real Property Data. Real Property Data specialized in the research and analysis of Atlanta’s commercial real estate market. This information was provided on a fee basis to property owners, brokers, purchasers, sellers and financial institutions. Real Property Data was Atlanta’s first online available commercial multiple listing service.

In 1989 Real Property Data merged with Jamison Commercial Real Estate Research Services now Costar Real Estate Research Services. While at Jamison Mr. Levison’s responsibilities included managing the company’s entire research and sales efforts in addition to regularly leading the company’s advisory group’s sale presentation.

Mr. Levison re-entered the brokerage community in 1992 where he worked at Ackerman & Co. and Dick Bryant & Associates. Mr. Levison specialized in industrial leasing as well as investment sales. Mr. Levison represented both tenants and landlords.

In 1997 Mr. Levsion became a member of MK Management Company, Inc. As a member of MK’s marketing and leasing team he was responsible for the leasing and renewal of the company’s entire portfolio. The portfolio consisted of 7.5 million square feet of industrial warehouse space throughout Atlanta. Mr. Levison remained with MK Management Company until 2005.

Mr. Levison formed Atlanta Industrial Properties in January 1998 while still a member of the MK Management Company team. In the 10 years since forming Atlanta Industrial Properties Mr. levsion has acquired approximately 800,000 square feet of multi-tenant office warehouse properties throughout Atlanta.

Mr. Levison co-founded Commercial Property Professionals in 2008.

Mr. Levsion earned his Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) designation in 1997, he is Life Member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and has served on the Board of Directors of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) from 2001-2005.

Mr. Levison is actively involved in the Special Olympics of Georgia (currently serving on the board of directors) and Yes Atlanta. Mr. Levison is also involved with Youth Entrepreneurs of Atlanta, the Atlanta Union Mission, Habitat for Humanity and the March of Dimes.

Mr. Levison resides in Sandy Springs with his wife Karen. Mr. Levison has four children, Turner, Taylor, Tate and Leah. Less
