Emerson’s Horizon Realty October 2000 - Present
Vice President/Real Estate Services. Exclusive Leasing Director/Manager for a portfolio
of over 120 retail properties totaling over 8 million sf across the US. Developed/
maintained strategic marketing plans and streamlined leasing process to assist in the
procurement of new tenants, manage existing tenant base, and to increase portfolio
income and value. Continued to provide full real estate services to companies, developers,
investors and individuals in need of representation outside the portfolio.
Major Achievements
• Raised occupancy level from 71% to 92% and maintained above 90% occupancy
to date. Completed transactions with such clients as CiCi’s Pizza, Tuesday
Morning, Eckards, CVS, AutoZone. Represented such clients as Pet Supplies
Plus, Cysco Systems/Netvoice Technologies, Pierson Ventures, Cloeren

Agent/National Sales Account Manager. Procured and closed national and local clientele
for real estate portfolio management services. Represented our clients from
a brokerage standpoint in a number of different real estate transactions across the
nation.
Major Achievements
• Solidified such national clients as Wesco International, Wave Technology,
Nycomed Amersham, TCIM Services. Strong niche in local market representing
recently funded Start-Up and high growth companies such as Netvoice Technology
and Chip Data, Inc.

COMWELL Health Systems April 1997 – August 1998
Executive Director. Responsible for marketing and daily operations of urgent care clinic
with highly affluent clientele base.
Major Achievements
• Directed the development and promotion of this new clinic located in the
CBD Dallas.
• Established all office procedures and selected proper information technology, staff to
handle day to day business administration. Business development has focused on
establishing brand equity through strategic marketing, sales and customer service in
a medical care setting.
Systems Health Providers November 1996 – April 1997
Network/Provider Representative. Controlled and monitored the ongoing relationships
of 1200 physicians in an IPA network contracted with over 80 insurance carriers.
Consulted providers on how to establish and maintain a successful practice in the managed
care arena.
Major Achievements
• Instrumental in the creation of an operations manual, which detailed practice
guidelines and procedures for each independent insurance carrier. The manual was
distributed to all members.
Sweetwater Health Enterprises June 1995 - November 1996
Dallas, TX
QI Supervisor. Responsible for the management and supervision of a multi-functional
team, which provided NCQA certified credentialing services to over 80 clients nationally.
Major Achievements
• Promoted three times within the organization. Appointed leader of a Quality
Improvement team that increased productivity and decreased error rate through
innovative changes. Also developed new policy for prioritizing client requests with
regards to customer satisfaction.
Preferred Independent Physicians of America June 1992 - February 1995

Credentials Coordinator/Administrator. Responsible for daily operations and marketing
of this independent physician association. Duties included recruitment, credentialing,
committee review, contract analysis, vendor negotiations, budget control, development
of all educational services.

Major Achievements
• Promoted to this position while employed at its sister company Austin Computer
Diagnostics. Developed numerous membership privileges through group
purchasing discounts and strategic leveraging. The effects of which prompted the
implementation of membership dues. This capitol accounted for a monthly income
of $50,000 per month, which in turn was used to pursue other ventures needed for
continued growth.
Administrative/Marketing Assistant. Initially began as an intern, promoted to full time
employee. Assisted the Marketing Director with projects, which included client contact
and follow up, sales, public relations.
Major Achievements
• Involved in the implementation of a software program for database marketing and
tracking of physician referrals. Created pre-admissions procedure that educated
patients and decreased office visit time for magnetic resonance imaging patients.
