Responsibilities include prospecting and broker relations, lease negotiations (legal and economic issues), development and implementation of advertising strategy and preparation and implementation of the marketing budgets for approximately 2,000,000 square feet of Class A office space in five high rise office buildings. Community involvement responsibilities include representing the Properties as a Board Member in the tax district (CCID) responsible for allocating a special tax collected for transportation improvements in the county. In 2005, Ms. Engel was selected to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Kennesaw State University. In 2006, Ms. Engel was asked to increase her involvement by becoming a member of the Executive Committee and in 2007 she became Chairperson of the Real Estate Committee. KSU is the third largest and fastest growing university in the state of Georgia.
