Chris Maling - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

Chris Maling joined Marcus & Millichap in the Los Angeles office in September 1987 as a broker assistant. Upon graduating from the University of Southern California in 1988, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Real Estate Finance and Marketing, Chris was a "Runner" for the Regional Manager of the Los Angeles Office. In January 1990, Chris started his career as an investment broker. During his tenure as a specialist in brokering investment property, Chris has successfully listed and sold apartment buildings, retail shopping centers, office buildings and industrial office warehouse properties. In addition, Chris has had extensive experience with 1031 tax deferred exchanges, foreclosures, Chapter 7 & 11 bankruptcies. Chris currently is an active member of International Council of Shopping Centers(ICSC), Realty Investment Association of California-Los Angeles(RIAOC), Urban Land Institute(ULI) and Associate Member, Certified Commercial Investment Manager(CCIM).
