Cathy Jones and the NAI Horizon Investment Services Group focus on investment sales in excess of $3,000,000. In their first year together, the Investment Services Group has successfully closed over $35 million in investment sale transactions, ranging in size from $1.5 million to $14.1 million. The transactions included office, retail and industrial properties. The foundation has been laid for a very successful future. Prior to joining NAI Horizon in 2003, Ms. Jones had 20+ years experience in corporate cash management, financing, acquisition-disposition of commercial investments, leasing,contract negotiations, start-up operations and corporate expansion working in the title insurance and settlement industry. Ms. Jones brings significant relationships of both investors and lenders, not only in the Las Vegas market, but also on a national level. Education Cathy Jones has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. She maintains her continuing education requirements each year. Background & Experience Ms. Jones joined Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte Touche) in 1981 to gain public accounting industry experience. During this time, she worked on a wide variety of engagements including gaming, financial institutions, auto dealerships and public entities. She joined the Nevada Title Company family of companies in 1984 as Chief Financial Officer. During her career with Nevada Title Company, the Company maintained number one market share for most of this period, and specifically dominanting in the commercial area. Ms. Jones retained financial responsibilities as she assumed responsibility as President of Westcor Land Title Insurance Company. Westcor is currently licensed in twenty two states and operating in six states. Gross premium revenues in 2002 exceeded $50 million. During this period, Ms. Jones directed corporate cash management, financing, contract negotiations, acquisition-disposition of commercial investments, leasing for office expansions and corporate expansion. Professional Affiliations & Designations Ms. Jones has served as a Director for Wells Fargo Bank of Nevada since 1997. She has served on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Southern Nevada Executive Committee since 1986. She served as Treasurer for United Way for 10 years and Chairman of the Board for 2 years. Ms. Jones is a CCIM candidate. She is a 1994 graduate of Leadership Las Vegas and has served on the Advisory Board of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. Less
