Barbara Gross, Executive Vice President, has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate with Sheldon Gross Realty. During this time, she has negotiated more than one million square feet of office space for some of the nation’s premier companies, including Rothstein, Kass & Co; MCS/Canon; John Hancock Insurance; PaineWebber; H&R Block; Bollinger Insurance; Union Carbide and Wellman, Inc. She received her broker’s license in 1992.

Most of her clients utilize her services on an ongoing basis as a consultant to their firm. For example:

She helped one company expand from 3,000 square feet to over 30,000 square feet in less than ten years. This firm had to have the utmost flexibility in lease terms to anticipate this growth.

Another firm was on an aggressive growth track. They required major expansion in New Jersey, as well as a presence in New York City. As they continued to grow, they required the ability to grow within and relocate each location, as the needs in that particular market changed.

A Fortune 500 company wanted to relocate its corporate headquarters. This entailed subleasing its current headquarters, as well as relocating to a location that minimized the employee attrition, was suitable for Board of Director meetings, and was able to provide a telecommunications infrastructure for teleconferencing worldwide.

Ms. Gross is married with two children. She resides in Morristown, New Jersey. Her interests include golf, scuba diving and running. Ms. Gross is on the Board of Directors of NF2 Advocure, the advocacy group dedicated to advancing research on Neurofibromatosis Type 2. In additional she is the Environmental Chairperson of the Upper Saranac Lake Association in the Adirondacks.
