Alex Cobble - Commercial Real Estate Showcase

Alex Cobble joined Commercial Property Professionals from CB Richard Ellis’ Atlanta office. As a 20-year veteran in commercial real estate, Cobble has extensive experience in the leasing and sales of office and industrial properties. His recent assignments include 7000 Central Park, Piedmont Center 14, 10 Tenth Street, Wildwood Center, The Towers at Wildwood Plaza, and Platinum Tower.

Cobble spearheaded Equity Office Properties’ leasing in Florida for seven years, with five properties totaling 1.6 million square feet in Sarasota, Tampa, and downtown Orlando at SunTrust Center. He was then relocated by Equity Office to Atlanta upon the sale of four of the five Florida buildings. He has leased the 3.5 million-square-foot Equity Office portfolio in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter market for five years.

Cobble started his real estate career in San Diego with CBRE for nine years.

Cobble graduated from the United States Naval Academy and has a Masters degree from the University of Southern California. He is also a graduate of the Command and Staff College at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. A Navy Pilot for seven and a half years after graduation, Cobble spent 17 years in the Naval Reserves, retiring as a Captain (0-6) in 2001 from the Navy Central Command in Tampa, Florida. He held three commands in the Naval Reserves, including two aircraft carriers.

Cobble is on the Board of Directors of the the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and is a past Chairman of the Community Service Committee. Cobble also serves on the Board of Directors of USO-Georgia. He currently holds brokers’ licenses in Georgia and Florida and has a California Real Estate Sales license. Less
